Mai (舞), also known as Flatscreen, is the second main protagonist of Porkchop 'n Flatscreen, and the first character that is presented.
Personality[]
Mai is a straight forward, brash young woman who is also protective of Ayane Shiun (Mai's friend) as seen in Episode 2.
Appearance[]
Mai looks a lot like a guy and the viewer is made to believe that she is one, until the end of episode 1 which reveals that she is a woman. She has short- black hair with brown skin.
While she was at school, she wears the school's uniform for boys.
When she's not in school, Mai is often wearing a white sleeveless top with a red hachimaki (headband) around her neck , blue jeans & a bee design on the right back pocket. She also has bandages on her arms and wrists.
In Episode 11, her hair grows out and reaches below her waist.
Combat Style[]
Mai uses a variety of weapons including: bombs, rope, & ninja techniques. She can also summon a ninja weasel with a scythe.

- The name Mai means "dance" (舞).

- Mai dislikes hugs, skirts, long hair, the Kuragari clan and thunderstorms.
- Mai has a picture of Bobby Sykes in his angel form; she later on used it to blackmail him into being Ayane's boyfriend.
- Mai's ninja weasel is named after Jubei (Mai's dead brother).
- In episode 9, it was revealed that Queen Morrigan is the one who threw Mai in the waterfall, causing her to drown.
- Mai's favorite character from Scooby Doo is Fred because he has a 'cool scarf'.
- Mai can speak Spanish.
- It is implied in recent episodes that Mai may have had an attraction or a crush on Mi Na Kim.
- Mai is fearless (except for when it comes to thunderstorms).
- Mai's greatest weakness is her temper.
- Mai cares for Ayane Shiun very much and will do anything to make sure she is happy, even if it means she has to do bad things.
